A Steering Committee has been established to provide overall guidance and orientation to the ADF III process. The Steering Committee includes:

Economic Commission for Africa (ECA)

The Organisation of African Unity (OAU)

The African Development Bank (ADB)

The Regional Economic Communities (RECs)

	SADC - Southern African Development Community
	ECOWAS - Economic Community of West African States
	EAC - East African Community
	COMESA - Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa
	SACU - Southern African Customs Union
	ECCAS - Economic Community of Central African States

and other key institutional partners, as well as a number of distinguished African personalities.

It will meet twice before the Forum – in October and on the eve of the Forum.
