Half day panel discussion on Gender Equality at the Heart of Decent Work and the issue of discrimination

General objectives of the Panel Discussion
:: Familiarising participants with the overall framework of decent work country programming and the key cross-cutting priority areas such as gender equality and discrimination;
:: To lay foundation on the negative effects of discrimination.
:: To raise awareness among policy makers and society at large about the importance of combatting discrimination
:: To strengthen the coalition of partners working towards the elimination of discrimination in Ethiopia
:: To publicize ILO's principles and values
:: This forum will also be a Pre-ADF VI activity ideal to disseminate the campaign materials.
:: Strengthening the capacity of ILO staff, constituents and partners to systematically mainstream gender in their project and programme Draft Programme
