Electronic Roundtables

The objective is to hold electronic roundtable discussions on key themes and issues of the Poverty Reduction Strategies (PRS) and Millennium Development Goals (MDG) process. Composing the discussing groups will be a community of interest - including academic and policy research institutions, international agencies, and civil society advocacy networks. Electronic roundtables add value because they overcome constraints of space, time and funding, garnering participation that would not be otherwise possible. The project will hold regular e-Roundtables.

Electronic Roundtable Discussion

The electronic discussions will be facilitated through Dgroups, a collaboration platform developed by a number of international organizations working on development issues. To support the active participation by Anglophone and Francophone participants, ECA has set up this platform to run in both English and French.

The electronic roundtable is by invitation only. This means that only those invited will be given the necessary technical permission (i.e. a username and password) to post to the discussion. To support the active participation by Anglophone and Francophone participants, ECA has set up this platform to run in both English and French and participants are asked to contribute with the language of their choice.
