Cape Verde

The Instituto Superior de Engenharia e Ciencias de Mar is the top level domain administrator for the .cv domain, and is reponsible to the Commisao Instaladora do Ensino Superior. The latter has entered into an agreement with the Instituto Superior de Ciencias do Trabalho e da Empresa (ISCTE) of Portugal to establish  Internet services in Cape Verde. The project has not yet materialised because of the unexpected high communications costs for direct connections to Portugal.
