ICT Training and Development

The former Higher Institute of Electronics established in 1976 to train manpower in electronics, communications and data processing, has been affiliated to the University of Al-Tahadi in 1992. It has since been known as the Faculty of Electronic Engineering graduating engineers in electronics and communications.

The National Posts and Telecommunications Institute in Tripoli has a programme in ICTs.

Television Broadcaster: Libya Television is the state-owned television broadcaster.

Television Broadcasting services: ORBIT - The Orbit Satellite Television and Radio Network which is the world's first fully-digital, multi-channel, multi-lingual, direct-to-home, payTV and radio satellite service, with over 30 television and radio channels, based in Saudi Arabia.
