As a follow up to the Sirte Declaration of the African Union Extraordinarily Summit on Agriculture and Water, the UN Water/Africa group under the aegis of the AU and many stakeholder partners are organizing a Regional Workshop on " Developing Guidelines for Inter-Basin Water Transfer (IBWT) projects for Policy Makers".

The Workshop will be held in Accra, Ghana from 25th to 29 September 2006.
