The Mission: In the context of the Commission's over arching mission
i.e. "to serve Africa better", DMD mission is to assist its clients as the case
may be to build, strengthen, and/or enhance their capacity for the delivery of quality
services and products that contribute to national development.
The Vision:
Public-private-partnership-driven sustainable development for a better life in the
twenty-first century
The Goal: Strengthening the managerial and institutional capacity of the public,
private and the voluntary sectors is the main goal of DMD. Complimentary to this goal is
DMD's effort to facilitate improvements in public and private sector performance as well
as increased participation of civil society in the development process.
