Advanced Training workshop on EUROTRACE, Addis-Ababa, 31 October-4 November 2011

An advanced training workshop on EUROTRACE is organized by the African Centre for Statistics (ACS) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) at the Training Center of the United Nations Conference Center (UNCC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 31 October to 4 November 2011 with the support of the Statistical Commission of the European Communities (EUROSTAT). Mr. Olivier Delobbe, Expert of EUROTRACE from Sogeti Luxembourg, is the instructor. The purpose of this internal training workshop is to strengthen the technical capacity of the staff members of the ACS of the UNECA in the area of trade statistics. EUROTRACE is a computer system for the collection and analysis of external trade statistics developed by the Statistical Office of the European Communities (EUROSTAT). This advanced training workshop is a follow-up of the basic training workshop that was organized by ACS from 10 to 14 October 2011.
