SCAN-ICT
project
Scan-ICT project is an initiative
which aims to help Africa to gradually
develop the capacities necessary to collection
and management of information in order
to support the investment in the ICT and to ensure
the transition of the continent towards the
information society.
The reports on the Scan-ICT
project show that Africa can create necessary capacities
which will enable him to influence the
investments in ICT, to reinforce their impact and
to encourage the development of solutions, applications
and purely African contents. It is a question of
creating a Panafrican network of ICT which will
include all the questions relating to the ICT.
The Network will be coordinated and supported by
an institute of research which will be used as
observatory.
