The
SRDC for Eastern Africa is now based in Kigali, Rwanda and serves thirteen countries:
Burundi, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya,
Madagascar, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda.
The Eastern Africa Development Centre EA-SRDC was created for a better coverage of the subregion in respect of the configuration and strategy defined by the Abuja Treaty establishing the African Economic Community (AEC).
