2. Organizing and conducting Needs Assessment and Strategy Development (NASD) exercises;
3. Developing macro-economic data series, including key statistical indicators, for African countries for puposes of monitoring economic recovery, regional and subregional economic cooperation as well as their competitiveness in the global economy;
4. Promoting the use of quantitative information for decision-making for sustainable development;
5. Statistical and household surveys.
