A Call to the Private Sector

The Conference extends an invitation to members of the private sector to take part in this event. There will be several aspects of the conference which will be of interest to banking and credit institutions, corporate and co-operative associations, insurance firms, computers firms, information network groups, media firms and other members of the private sector. Examples of these are:

Networking: women entrepreneurs with big companies: for promoting women into international trade

Promoting initiative for new research from private institutions: (Research centres, firms) Appropriate technology on energy, water supply, food processing

Demonstrating information (communication technologies for improving African women conditions:

Demonstrating the use of information technologies for marketing, business networking, education for new generation

Concrete involvement of private sector in improvement of women's lives through credits and insurance schemes.
