| BBC Network Africa presenter Audrey Brown's introduction: To trade matters now and the biggest trading bloc in Africa...Comesa...is trying to create a customs union that would harmonise the costs of goods moving between member countries in east and southern African countries...and remove other barriers to trade. The plan is that everything should be done by the end of next year...or that's what the meeting of Comesa decided when it ended yesterday. But why does trade matter?
