Coming Soon: 2007 African Economic Conference

Addis Ababa, 31 October 2007 (ECA) – The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) are jointly organizing the second African Economic Conference which will be held from 15 – 17 November 2007 at the United Nations Conference Center (UNCC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The aim of the Conference is to provide a forum for exchange of ideas among African economists and policymakers with a view to improving access to information and research on economic development issues affecting the region. The Conference will bring together researchers, policy makers and representatives from the private sector, regional institutions and international organizations. An estimated 300 participants are expected.
