Venues for All Occasions

Designed to contain the perfect combination of venues, ECACC-AA is capable of hosting meetings of all sizes in equal comfort.

Two main conference halls offer a combined space of 2,200 square meters with a total capacity of nearly 1,300 persons.  Located on the same floor, both halls can host completely separate events or be linked electronically for a fully coordinated conference.

Smaller meetings are conveniently accommodated in a choice of four conference rooms, each seating up to 115 persons.

Complementing the conference venues are full support areas, including caucus and briefing rooms, chairperson suites with executive offices and meeting room, business, press and service centres, lounges, reception areas and an exhibition concourse.

 

The Technical Advantage

ECACC-AA employs the latest technology to provide an impressive range of in-house facilities which afford an unbeatable technical advantage.

Both the main conference halls are equipped with a seven-language facility, as well as electronic voting and discussion management systems.  In addition, a computerized projection system allows the perfect staging of multi-media presentations.  Four conference rooms are similarly well provided with technical systems, including a four-language facility by Wireless Internet Connection (Wi-Fi) is readily available within the Center.

Elsewhere in the complex, satellite communications, television and radio studios, recording and monitoring facilities, printing and copying services, an intelligent building system, and more, provide the technical back-up so necessary to the successful modern meeting.

 

The Large Conference Hall

The largest of ECACC-AA’s two main conference halls is a prestigious venue that matches quality interior design with that essential attention to technical detail which ensure delegates’ every need is fully met.

Covering an area of 1,200 square metres, the hall can seat over 800 persons in a configuration that can host 300 heads of delegation of 56 heads of state, as well as 300 other delegates.  Additionally there is a rostrum accommodating 28 and a gallery for up to 180 observers.

Technical capability includes floor language plus six-language simultaneous interpretation system, electronic voting and discussion management systems, and film, video, slide and overhead projection.

The Medium Conference Hall

Of equal quality and prestige to the large conference hall, this 1,000-square metre venue can seat nearly 500 persons.  The arrangement allows for up to 200 heads of delegation, 200 other delegates, a rostrum for 26 and a gallery seating 48.

Ideally suited to medium-sized conferences, the hall offers the same technical capability as the large hall, and the same ease for proceedings to be conducted smoothly and efficiently.

In addition to floor language, there is a six-language simultaneous interpretation system, as well as electronic voting and discussion management systems, and film, video, slide and overhead projection.

Combined Conference Halls

 

While both the large and medium conference halls are totally self-contained to host completely separate events, they are conveniently located on the same floor and can be linked electronically for a fully coordinated conference chaired from alternating rostra.

This combined capacity thus provides a total meeting area of 2,200 square metres with capacity of nearly 1,300 persons, allowing for up to 500 heads of delegation and 500 other delegates, plus rostrum for 26 and 228 seated in the galleries.

Such is the perfect coordination that proceedings in both halls are as one, fully joined with audio-visual coverage, six-language simultaneous interpretation system in addition to floor language, electronic voting and discussion management systems, and film, video, slide and overhead projection.

Conference Rooms

 

Smaller meetings are equally well catered to in four conference rooms, each covering 300 square meeting and seating up to 115.  The configuration of the rooms is for 58 heads of delegation, plus additional delegates.

Elegantly designed, the décor and facilities of the conference rooms match those of the larger venues in quality and prestige.

Technical facilities are also of the highest standard and perfectly suited to all requirements of the smaller meeting.  In addition to floor language, there is a three-language simultaneous interpretation system, electronic voting and discussion management systems, and video, slide and overhead projection with large screens.

Professional Support Facilities

Complementing the main conference venues are full support areas designed to ensure everyone meets with ease.  Two well-appointed briefing rooms are variously configured with desks and seating for between 44 and 64 persons, while ten caucus rooms range in size from 22 to 32 seats.

Auxiliary facilities include two chairperson suites with executive offices and meeting room, conference clients’ office space and a 2,100 square-metre exhibition concourse, as well as a fully equipped business center, plus reception areas and lounges of various sizes for different purposes.

For the convenience of delegates, reception areas and lounges are equipped with wifi internet connection as well as closed-circuit televisions to provide audio-visual coverage of the proceedings in all conference halls and rooms.  All other areas are on-line through a seven-channel audio monitoring system.

The press center with worldwide communications meets all media requirements, from individual work spaces and briefing room to bar and lounge.

First aid, emergency and intensive care is provided by a full medical clinic within the complex, while the latest security systems have been installed for personal safety and protection of the building.

Throughout the complex and backed by a computerized building automatic control system, smooth operations are ensured by a fully qualified team of support personnel and technicians.

Catering to All Tastes

Meeting everyone’s satisfaction is catering for all occasions, from champagne receptions to gala banquets.

In addition to a spacious area suited to banquets and grand receptions, an elegant partitionable dinning room seats up to 148 and offers a wide variety of menus, all expertly prepared in the ECACC-AA’s extensive kitchens which are equipped to handle all styles of cooking.  For more casual dining, a cafeteria is available, with seating for up to 320.

Beverages and light refreshments are available from two bars and choice of lounges, including a large delegates lounge.
