Africa Data Dissemination Service

The Africa Data Dissemination Service is intended to provide public access to country specific-data collected by the Famine Early Warning System (FEWS) project since the mid 1980s for numerous African countries. The primary types of data that can be accessed are: Satellite image data showing historical and current vegetation conditions, satellite-derived estimates of historical and current rainfall (image data), digital maps of various themes, and tabular data related to rainfall, agriculture, and commodity prices.
