Integrated Regional Information Network

The Integrated Regional Information Network (IRIN) provides information in a range of forms. Special reports, specific news items, daily updates, weekly digests in French, English and Kiswahili are the primary products and are currently delivered directly by e-mail to some 6,000 subscribers. IRIN delivers and receives information to and from some of the most remote and underdeveloped places on earth cheaply and efficiently.

The International Trade Center (ITC) is a technical cooperation organization of UNCTAD/WTO whose mission is to support developing and transition economies, and particularly their business sectors, in their efforts to realize their full potential for developing exports and improving import operations with the ultimate goal of achieving sustainable development. ITC deals specifically with the operational aspects of trade promotion and export development.

Global Environment Facility

The Global Environment Facility (GEF) is a UNDP program established to forge international cooperation and finance actions to address four critical threats to the global environment: biodiversity loss, climate change, degradation of international waters, and ozone depletion. Related work to stem the pervasive problem of land degradation is also eligible for GEF funding.
