ECA in Partnership with OECD holds Consultation Meeting to Review the 2010 Mutual Review of Development Effectiveness in Africa – 19th – 20th May 2010

Addis Ababa , 17 May 2010 (ECA) – The Governance and Public Administration Division (GPAD) of ECA, in collaboration with other divisions of ECA and the Africa Partnership Forum Support Unit of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will be organizing a consultation meeting to review the draft 2010 Mutual Review of Development Effectiveness in Africa (MRDE) report on Wednesday 19 May and Thursday 20 2010.  The meeting will be held in Conference Room 5 of the ECA Conference Centre.

The aim of the consultation meeting will be to test the emerging findings of the 2010 MRDE report, with an audience including policy think-tanks/research groups, and civil society and advocacy groups, drawn from both Africa and its development partners.  The report is scheduled to be published in September 2010.
