International Conference on ICTs for Development, Education and Training 24-26 May 2006
This exhibition aimed at showcasing and demonstrating ITCA's activities related to DISD's harnessing ICTs for development programme in general with special emphasis on the activities around the African Learning Network. At the center of the exhibit was the demonstration of ECA's African e-Learning Initiative online Learning System. Other exhibits included outreach materials on the ALN and several ICT for development resources as well as outputs of its activities in building national capacities of member States in the use of ICTs for accelerated and sustainable development. About 832 participants from 80 countries passed through the exhibition and had the opportunity to visit and interact with exhibitors. The exhibition stand displayed and distributed posters, documents, AISI briefing papers, brochures, and video documentaries. The e-Learning Intiative was demonstrated to visitors on a big screen. Canada Fund

The Canada Fund for Africa Exhibit, Addis Sheraton, 6 – 8 June, 2005
ITCA staff, in conjuction with the ECA Communication Team, arranged an ECA exhibit for the Canada Fund for Africa Event. Although the event ran from 6 – 8 June, 2005 at the Addis Sheraton Hotel, the ECA exhibit was only operational for the Networking Bazaart held on the 6th of June. During this time, ITCA and CommTeam staff were able to engage and attract visitors to the exhibit where a number on interactions were used to provide detailed information describing key activities that have resulted from ECA’s partnership with the government of Canada. ECA’s exhibition CODI IV aimed at showcasing the various services and products of the AISI. It was jointly organized with ePol-NET. ePol-NET.
Second Africa Regional Preparatory Conference for the WSIS (Accra 2005), 28 January – 4 February 2005
ECA’s exhibition at the Second Africa Regional Conference for the WSIS aimed at showcasing the various services and products of the AISI. It also aims in promoting partnerships for the information society by sharing the exhibition space with GKP and ePol-NET.
International Symposium on ICT Education and Application in Developing Countries, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 16-19 November 2004
Over 300, which include senior government officials; such as the Ministers of Federal Revenue and Infrastructure; researchers, policy makes, planners, ICT operators and service providers, ICT experts from government and private sector, educators, advocates, and others visited the ITCA Visitors experienced a wide range of ITCA developed applications including our HIV/AIDS and Land Management Kiosks. permanent exhibition.
ADF Exhibition ADF IV Exhibition
ADF IV was organized under the theme, “Governance for a Progressive Africa” in partnership with the African Union and the African Development Bank, from 11 to 15 October 2004 in Addis Ababa. Recognizing the importance of good governance in economic and sustainable development, the Forum presented a unique opportunity for all the participants to gain an in-depth knowledge of the dimensions of good governance and key challenges with a view to generating realistic strategies for good governance practices.

ECA’s exhibition at the ITU Telecom Africa 2004 Conference aimed at promoting AISI’s National Information and Communication Infrastructure (NICI) policies and plans. The exhibition was organized jointly with the Global ePolicy Resource Network (ePol-NET) and the Canadian Center for ePolicy Resources (CePRC).
