ISTD Exhibition on the Science with Africa Conference

The ICTs and Science & Technology Division of ECA has organized an exhibition that goes along with the Science with Africa Conference, which was organized by the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in collaboration with the African Union Commission and its partners, aimed at exploring how African science based entities can increase their collaboration with and participation in international science and R&D projects. The exhibition took place from 3-7, March 2008 at the UNCC.

Launch of the National Information and Communication Infrastructure (NICI) : Best Parctices and Lessons Learnt book which was published by the ICTs and Science and Science & Technology Division of the UNECA, took place in the ECA - AU stand of the exhibition.

ECA has also mounted its own exhibition to promote AISI's Science, Technology and Innovation activities as well as its various alliances strategies. ECA 's exhibition stand included several posters, documents and resource CDS. In addition AISI promotional multimedia presentations and video documentaries were displayed on a 61" Plasma Screen during the exhibition to attract visitors and give a glimpse of what AISI is all about and its areas of focus.
