ECA Exhibition @ eLearning Africa 2008 Conference, Accra, Ghana

ISTD has setup an exhibition on the 3rd International Conference on ICT for Development, Education and Training event that took place from May 28 – 30, 2008 in the Accra International Conference Centre, Ghana. The exhibition stand was used to display posters that show ICT for development, status of NICI activities in ECA supported member States, various projects run in the division. The exhibition also includes the distribution of the documents (Mainly, the “National Information and Communication Infrastructure (NICI): Best Practices and Lessons Learnt” and “African e-Markets” books) and multimedia videos on initiatives and major activities on harnessing ICTs for development in the African Continent.

It has also distributed documents and resource CDs for participants of the UNECA - Global eSchools and Communities Initiative (GeSCI) co-organised Ministerial meeting on the theme “ICTs for development, education and training”. This meeting took place on May 28, 2008 at the Accra International Conference Centre as pre-conference event of the eLearning Africa 2008 Conference.
