The ECA exhibition stand at the ITU Telecom Africa 2004 Conference

:: About the Exhibit
ECA’s exhibition at the ITU Telecom Africa 2004 Conference aimed at promoting AISI’s National Information and Communication Infrastructure (NICI) policies and plans. The exhibition was organized jointly with the Global ePolicy Resource Network (ePol-NET) and the Canadian Center for ePolicy Resources (CePRC).

ECA's exhibition stand included several posters, documents and resource CDS. In addition AISI promotional multimedia presentations were displayed on 42" Plasma Screen during the exhibition to attract visitors and give a glimpse of what AISI is all about and its areas of focus.

During the exhibition, the following AISI documents and CDs were on display and distributed to delegates from ministries of communication, information and communication technology, and regulatory agencies to promote the ePolicy related work of the AISI and generate demand.
:: Objectives and Accomplishments
Number of Visitors: over 1000 which included Ministers, heads of regulatory agencies and CEOs of telecom companies.
Documents and resource CDs distributed: More than 400 items were put on display and distributed at the ECA stand during the ITU Telecom Africa 2004 conference

Visit by the Permanent Secretary, Department of State for Communication, Information and Technology, The Gambia
