The ECA Library plays a key role in the Commission’s knowledge management activities and significantly impacts the quality of its knowledge products and services. In this regard, the library provides services in support of policy research, learning and teaching by connecting communities, within and beyond the parent organization (ECA Divisions/SROs/IDEP, member States, subregional organizations, other institutions and Africa’s development partners) to both in-house and externally generated information and knowledge.
Through its Institutional Repository, the library provides a wealth of knowledge produced by the Commission since 1958 and strengthens the capacity of African libraries and information centers in capturing, managing and disseminating local content.
