Census and Survey Processing System (CSPro)

CSPro (Census and Survey Processing System) is a public-domain software package for entering, tabulating and mapping census and survey data. CSPro was designed and implemented through a joint effort among the developers of IMPS and ISSA: the United States Census Bureau, Macro International, and Serpro, S.A. Funding for the development is provided by the Office of Population of the United States Agency for International Development. CSPro is designed to eventually replace both IMPS and ISSA.

DemoGraphics and Demo Tables

DemoGraphics makes it easy to browse, analyze and present (global) demographic data from the United Nations Population Assessments and Projections (1996 edition). All necessary data are already included. DemoTables is a data browser. It is the first and only tool that gives you a "one-click access" to demographic data for all countries worldwide - covering a period from 1950 to 2050. The software combines an easy to use interface with a solid database on demographic trends worldwide.

Rural/Urban Projection (RUP)

The population projection program RUP (Rural-Urban Projection) can be used for projecting the population of one or two areas (usually urban and rural areas) simultaneously. There are two options: (a) to project each of the areas and obtain the total as an aggregate, or (b) to project the total and one area and obtain the other area by subtraction.
