Description of Requirements:

UNECA hereby seeks to pre-qualify a suitable contractor capable of providing service for effective operation and maintenance of all electromechanical equipment, machines and other related systems in the compound, which will result in smooth and uninterrupted operation of the installations.  The electromechanical services incorporate Heating Ventilation & air Conditioning (HVAC), hot and cold water, fire, warning, detection and fighting system, sanitary and storm drainage system, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels and switch gears, generator sets, UPS etc.  Only pre-qualified firms may be invited to the tender by a “Request for Proposal” (RFP). 

ECA intends to solicit electromechanical contractor fully registered and having all listed criteria for qualification within the host country.  However, it is an added advantage if the company has an affiliation with a foreign/international company as a backup for technology and knowledge sharing.

Please note that the UNECA is precluded from entering into contract with a firm that is not fully registered with UNECA.  Those interested in responding to this invitation but not currently fully registered as vendors with UNECA, are encouraged to register before submission of their offer.  Pre-qualification questionnaire and Registration Form could be downloaded from  www.uneca.org/procurement or similar documents could also be collected from the UNECA, General Services Section, 2nd floor, Room no. 2N11.  Kindly also complete the “Vendor Response form” which is found in the website.
