The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) solicits for qualified consulting companies with valid license to express their interest in providing professional consultancy service for valuation of UNECA buildings and their contents – buildings, machinery and equipment.
The firm is expected to do valuation analysis of several buildings built in the area of 96110m2 in Addis Ababa, 1000 m2 in Rabat, 1067 m2 in Niamey, 801 m2 in Yaounde, 819 m2 in Kigali, 1189 m2 in Lusaka. The Contractor is expected to undertake a site visit to do the valuation of the buildings situated at the Addis Ababa site, whereas valuation will be made on desktop basis for those situated outside of Addis Ababa. For the materials and equipment, the valuation will be made for two categories of materials/equipment composed of 334 and 137 items each – location of all the materials/equipment is Addis Ababa.
The Company is expected to posses a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience and expertise in the valuation of assets of similar magnitude and complexity.
Terms of Reference will be provided with the solicitation document at the time of issuance of a solicitation document.
Companies that will express interest based on this expression of interest will be invited to participate in the above tender in a form of a Request for Proposal (RFP).
UNECA is precluded from entering into a contract with a firm that is not fully registered with UNECA.
