BrainStore was founded in 1989. As the result of a small
idea, BrainStore became the first IdeaFactory worldwide.
Today it employs a permanent staff of 80 and over 5000
freelancers from all over the world.
In the German and French speaking town of Biel, Switzerland,
BrainStore has a factory space of over 4000 sqm for
its Industrial IdeaProduction. Biel is the home of several
Swiss precision companies like Rolex, Swatch and Omega
as well as numerous micro-mechanics firms.
BrainStore produces ideas daily in the IdeaFactory or,
with the mobile production unit, anywhere around the
globe.
The first branch office was opened 2007 in Frankfurt/Main.
Value production
The method of Industrial IdeaProduction introduces maximum
efficiency to the innovation process.
BrainStore offers you unlimited creativity: in record
time, thousands of inspirations are created for your
task. From these we then offer you a selection of great
ideas. After a process of compression and selection,
we develop the most powerful ideas into a crisp and
clear concept. Finally, BrainStore will guide you through
the idea’s launch to ensure a successful implementation.
The BrainStore process impresses
1. with clever logic
2. with dazzling speed
3. with high precision
4. with the rational division of labor
5. with a broad ownership in the company for the developed
ideas («invented here»)
6. with skillful incorporation of all relevant stakeholders
in the innovation process
7. with amazing levels of scalability – from the
smallest everyday task, right up to strategic
mega-tasks, all innovation projects can be tackled systematically
8. with the integration of all steps of the innovation
value chain in one single process
from the first sparkle of thought right through to the
implementation of the ideas
9. with space and time independence – many people
can be integrated, no matter
where, no matter when
10. with utilization of the latest knowledge from innovation
research
(crowd-sourcing, community driven innovation, viewpoint-collision
etc.)
