OUTCOME
OF THE IDEAFINDING PROJECT «Boosting African R&D: growing stronger,
going global»
Inspirations:
Inspirations are pieces of information generated
during the boosting phase.
Inspirations are not tested for their feasibility,
nor do they necessarily
have a strong link to the main project topic. Inspirations
can be words,
sentences, phrases, pictures, shapings, etc.
CreativeWorkshop
and the IdeationStand: The CreativeWorkshop
involved
conference participants and young lateral thinkers
to boost ideas and
inspirations. They experienced the perfect combination
of structure and
chaos. Please find here all inspirations of the
CreativeWorkshop and the
IdeationStand. [more]
NetScouting:
A structured search of inspirations on the web and
deep web
was done by trained NetScouts prior to the Science
with Africa conference.
Please find here the highlights. [more]
Ideas:
Ideas are concrete answers to the project question.
They are generated on
the basis of the material collected in the boosting
phase by way of
inspiration and combination.
Compression:
The compression phase took place at the BrainStore
IdeationStand where all conference participants
actively contributed
concrete ideas for the next steps drawing from all
the raw material
gathered in the boosting phase.[more]
Idea
Selection: The 20 favourite ideas were
visualized and presented to all
Science with Africa participants in the Closing
Plenary. Acceptance and
polarization were examined. You find here the
presentation and the rating
of the 20 ideas.
