on the harmonisation of Central Africa RECs programmes |
In
Central Africa, the economic integration
process is mainly implemented by CEMAC and ECCAS, their
specialized agencies and some OIGs with more specific
sphere of activity:CICOS, COMIFAC and OHADA in particular.
The ad hoc meeting of experts on the RECs activities
and programs harmonization deals with the implementation
of a cooperation agreement between ECA,
ECCAS and CEMAC.

assistance on EPA impact study for Cameroon |
On
4-7 September 2006, an ECA delegation from TFED/ATPC and
the Central Africa SRO, conducted a trade related capacity
building mission in Yaoundé, Cameroon. This mission
was undertaken upon the request of the Cameroon’s
Ministry of Economic and Finance (MINEFI) for an impact
study of the
Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) on its economy.
