Objectives

(1) Promote coherence, effectiveness and synergy in the UN system's multi-disciplinary response to WSSD/JPOI implementation in Africa

(2) Promote interaction and collaboration with non-UN stakeholders in energy sector

(3) Provide support to NEPAD Energy Initiatives

(4) Foster Collaboration with other major African governmental or non-governmental initiatives and Programmes
