The workshop aims to enhance the national gender monitoring and reporting framework in Burundi through technical and capacity-building sessions. It will provide participants with targeted training on the fundamental components of gender monitoring and reporting, equipping stakeholders with the knowledge and tools necessary to strengthen existing systems.

A central part of the workshop will be the review and validation of the Situation Analysis Report on Burundi’s gender monitoring and reporting system, as well as the gender fact sheet, in close collaboration with national stakeholders. These discussions will ensure that the findings and recommendations reflect the national context and priorities.

Furthermore, the workshop will outline practical steps for improving the Gender Monitoring and Reporting Framework, including the development of a concrete implementation plan. Participants will engage in both plenary sessions for general discussions and breakout sessions designed for more focused, in-depth dialogue on key thematic areas.
