1. Pursuant to rule 4 of the rules of procedure of the Economic Commission for Africa, the present document serves as a notification that the meeting of the Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development at the fifty-sixth session of the Economic Commission for Africa will be held at the Elephant Hills Resort, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, in a hybrid format, from 28 February to 5 March 2024.
2. The ministerial segment will be preceded by a preparatory meeting, the forty-second meeting of the Committee of Experts of the Conference of Ministers, which will open at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, 28 February. The ministerial segment of the Conference of Ministers will open at 9.30 a.m. on Monday, 4 March.
