Objectives
Building on the successful launch of the ARIA XI report in Malabo Equatorial Guinea, ECA and the ARIA Partner Institutions envisage convening several follow-up dissemination events and conversations intended to popularize its key messages, findings, and recommendations. This event captioned: “A Conversation around the key findings and recommendations of the 11th Edition of the Report on Assessing Regional Integration in Africa (ARIA XI)” will be the first side event following the launch of ARIA XI in Malabo. It would be convened on the margins of the fourth session of the Committee on Private Sector Development, Regional Integration, Trade, Infrastructure, Industry and Technology (CPSDRTIIT-4). Aside from presenting and having a conversation around the ARIA XI key findings and recommendation, the side event would also be an opportunity for broader conversations around Africa’s integration especially in the context of an increasing complex and unfriendly global political economy.
