Hands-on Technical workshop for officials responsible for the formulation and execution of the budget in order to integrate the Budgeting Sensitive to Demographic Dividend approach in the 2025 budget cycle in Niger | Events | United Nations Economic Commission for Africa

The Sub-Regional Office for West Africa of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (SRO-WA/ECA), in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Niger, through the Directorate General for Budget of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Directorate General for Population of the Ministry of Public Health, Population and Social Affairs, organizes a hands-on technical workshop for officials responsible for the formulation and execution of the budget in order to integrate the BSDD in the 2025 budget cycle in Niger. The workshop will take place from 20 to 21 June 2024 in Niamey, Niger.

The main objective of the workshop is to strengthen the capacities of the ministries and institutions responsible for the formulation and the execution of the budget in order to support the public spending efficiency for the execution of the 2024 budget and the integration of the BSDD approach into the 2025 national budget cycle in Niger.
