The Sub-Regional Office for West Africa of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (SRO-WA/ECA), in collaboration with the Government of Burkina Faso, is organizing a technical workshop on the transformation of the Burkina Faso’s 2021-2023 budgets into functional budget, using the techniques and methodologies of Budgeting Sensitive to Demographic Dividend. The workshop will take place from 10 to 14 June 2024 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

The overall objective of the workshop is to strengthen the integration of the BSDD approach into the country’s 2025 budget cycle, based on the results of the transformation of conventional budgets into functional budgets compatible with the demographic dividend dimensions.
