Tunis, 27 April 2023 – The UN-Habitat Maghreb Office and the ECA Office for North Africa will hold, in partnership with the Office of the Resident Coordinator in Tunisia, a joint dissemination workshop under the theme : "Uncovering the effects of the Russian-Ukrainian war: Anticipating and preparing for the impact of the Ukraine Russia war on food security in Tunisia."
The workshop seeks to:

Discuss food security challenges in Tunisia;

Simulate the impact of the war on growth, national budget and households, and discuss mitigation measures;

Outline options for crisis mitigation

Share the experiences of municipalities and various participants regarding food security;

Present the experiences of the Tunis and La Marsa community gardens.
