Financial Technology Skills

Project Overview
The African fintech industry has shown remarkable growth with a positive impact in the banking and mobile money sector, but much more is needed to promote fintech product development across multiple businesses within the continent.
Since 2022, ECA started collaborating with the 10x1000 initiative (www.10x1000.org) as one of its global partners to empower skillful drivers of the continent’s digital economic future, offering an opportunity to learn the leading role of digital technology in the financial industry. The 10x1000 Tech for Inclusion is an open and global fintech learning platform that enables learners to become drivers of digital economic growth. Its mission is to nurture and inspire 1,000 emerging talents and tech leaders each year for the next ten years. The program is a philanthropic initiative launched jointly by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, and Ant Group in 2018.
